SummerWind Vineyard Reservation FAQ’s
Are wine tastings available?
We offer our tastings in the form of flights. You may choose five or more of the twelve wine selections we offer to taste on your flight.
Do you accept reservations for large groups?
YES! SummerWind accepts reservations for 6 or more people. We have a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options. You can call the tasting room at 757-357-2174 or email swvreservationline@gmail.com.
I have a larger group than 6. Can you accommodate us?
Absolutely! A group of 6-14 people is considered a Standard Reservation. All we need from you is your phone call or an email with details!
For groups of 15 or more, or Standard Large Party Reservation, we need the above information in addition to a $100 deposit which will be applied to your total bill. This deposit is refundable if you cancel by email at least (1) one week prior to your reservation.
A 20% gratuity will be added to your bill for 8 or more guests and we require your bill to be on one check.
I’d like to host a baby shower/bridal shower/birthday party at SummerWind. Do you accept these types of reservations and can we bring decorations?
Of course! This is considered a Special Occasion Reservation. You will be given a choice of private space on our enclosed porch or our outdoor seating area to use for your party. You can bring decorations up to two hours prior to your reservation time so you are all ready to go at party time! We ask that you do not bring confetti, artificial petals, powder cannons or any other items that can hurt our property’s natural environment. This applies for indoor or outdoor events. For a Special Occasion Reservation, there is a $100/hr rental fee. Additionally, there is a $200 deposit required, which will be applied to your total bill. This deposit is refundable if you cancel by email at least (2) two weeks prior to your reservation. There is a (6) six bottle per 20 people minimum wine purchase. A 20% gratuity will be added to your total and all charges must be on one bill
**Please note parties of 40 or more will require more detailed planning with our staff.
Am I able to reserve a wedding or large event at your venue?
We would love to host your wedding or special event! Please email swvreservationline@gmail.com with your contact information so we can discuss the details of your event!
Can we bring outside food?
With a Standard Reservation and Standard Large Party Reservation, the only outside food permitted is celebratory dessert cake/cupcakes/cookies. For a Special Occasion reservation, outside food is permitted provided the rental fee has been paid and the wine minimum purchase met.
Can we bring outside alcohol?
No outside alcohol is allowed to be consumed at Summerwind Vineyard. Our ABC license allows us to sell our own wines as well as Sly Clyde Ciders.
What food options do you offer?
We have a heavy charcuterie and bistro style menu, which you may find in the tasting room or on our website. For Large Party or Special Occasion Reservations, we offer a charcuterie grazing table at $17 per person (for groups of 15 or more).

Do you allow pets?
We would love for you to enjoy our outdoor seating areas with your dog, provided they remained leashed for the duration of your visit with us.
Is your vineyard family friendly?
Summerwind is a family friendly venue. We do ask if you bring children with that they remain supervised while you are visiting.

SummerWind Vineyard
SummerWind accepts and encourages reservations for parties of 6 or more. All smaller parties will be on a first come first serve basis. We do have indoor and outdoor seating available. If you are inquiring about a reservation for a party of 6 or more or a private function of sorts, please send us a message directly to swvreservationline@gmail.com. There is a button above that should direct you though your email.
Reservations continue to not be required, we just recommend them for the larger parties of 6 or more, especially if indoor seating is desired:)
When submitting your reservation request please include your full name, a good phone number for you to be reached at, the date, time and number of desired guests in your party (6 or more).
